Go Safe, a partnership involving the Welsh Government and emergency services, has revealed the locations of mobile speed cameras across the county for the week ahead. This initiative aims to reduce speeding, a significant contributor to collisions on Welsh roads, by monitoring and enforcing speed limits. The list of camera locations includes areas with 20, 30, 40, and 50 mph speed limits, as well as specific locations like schools and caravan parks, where adherence to speed limits is crucial for safety. Drivers caught speeding face a minimum penalty of a £100 fine and three penalty points on their license. However, in certain circumstances, drivers may be eligible to attend a Driver Education Course, which can incur a cost but avoids the addition of penalty points.
